- Indian Board of School Education, Bankra was established in as per S.R. Acts 21 of 1860 Government of West Bengal and working under its own constitution & Bye-law to assure & promote the quality in the Academic Courses.
- The Indian Board of School Education Prescribes syllabus, courses of instructions and text books for school education in all over India besides conducting examinations based on courses listed. At present, the Board conducts examinations for the following courses: Secondary, Senior Secondary(Arts, Commerce, Science). As many As thousands of candidates annually appear in the examination conducted by the Board.
