All India Sainik School Entrance Exam – AISSEE:
- In India, there are total 26 Sainik schools located in different states/UT. The Sainik School Society made it clear admission will be made strictly in order of merit only in classes VI and IX. In case the Entrance Examination cannot be conducted in any State/UT on account of the administrative problem, a separate order will be issued to conduct another Entrance Examination on a date fixed by the Honorary Secretary.
- The merit list for admission to the Sainik School would be compiled on the basis of total marks. In case there is a tie with regard to overall marks, the marks for mathematics would be considered. In case there is a tie here also the marks for English for Class IX and Intelligence Test for class VI will be considered and thereafter the marks for General Science for Class IX and language for Class VI.
- In case there is a tie there also the boy younger in age will be selected. It will not be necessary for a boy to qualify separately for the interview and marks obtained in the written test and interview together will determine his position in the final merit list.
Qualifying Marks for Sainik School Result 2023
To qualify the Sainik School Result 2023 successfully, candidates have to score the following minimum marks.
- (a) For SC/ST candidates – No. minimum marks.
- (b) For others – minimum of 25% marks in each subject and 40% marks in aggregate. The detailed mark list will be made available only after the declaration of final results. The detailed mark list will be supplied only to parents/ legal guardian of candidates on payment of Rs. 100/- to the Principal through DD/IPO. Copy of answer Sheets will not be provided.
