The main function of Economics subject in Std 12th is to Understanding of some basic economic concepts and develop economic reasoning which the learners can apply in their day-to-day life as citizens, workers, and consumers and To develop an understanding that there can be more than one view on any economic issues
and to develop the skills to argue logically with reasoning.

The following NBSE Class 12th Economics Previous Year Question Paper is based on the new revised syllabus of NBSE 2023. All the HSSLC student of Nagaland may check the textbooks list for better preparation.

Question Difficulty Level

  • 1. Easy Question: 30 percent, Total  27 Marks
  • 2. Average Question: 50 percent, Total 45 Makrs
  • 3. Difficult Question: 20 percent, Total 18 Marks

Scheme of Options:
There will be no general option. However, an internal option shall be provided for:

  • i. 1 (one) 4 marks question
  • ii. 4 (four) 5 marks questions
  • iii. 1 (one) 10 marks question

General Instruction

  • i) Approximately 15 minutes is allotted to read the question paper and revise the answers.

  • iii) Marks are indicated against each question.
  • iv) Answers to questions carrying 1 mark should not exceed one sentence.
  • v) Answers to questions carrying 2 marks should not exceed 50 words.
  • vi) Answers to questions carrying 4 marks should not exceed 80 words.
  • vii) Answers to questions carrying 6 marks should not exceed 120 words.
  • viii) Answers to questions carrying 8 marks should not exceed 200 words.
